Business trick-or-treating night set in Columbus

The Columbus business community is offering a trick-or-treating dress rehearsal for local kids.
On Oct. 28 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., at least 15 Columbus-based businesses will be open for Halloween fun as a joint project between the Stillwater County Chamber of Commerce and Stillwater Legacy Trails.
Three secret judges will also be making the rounds during that time period and one winner will receive a pair of tickets to the Stillwater Legacy Trails' "Nightmare on Main Street" haunted house about the New Atlas Bar. The haunted house will be open on Oct. 21 and 22 and again on Oct. 28. and 29 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Stillwater County Chamber of Commerce Administrator Tressie Goddard said the businesses are encouraged to dress up as well. As of Tuesday afternoon, 15 had signed up to participate. They include ABC 123 University, Mandeville Insurance Agency, Altana Federal Credit Union, Eagle's Nest Floral & Gifts, Meadowlark Assisted Living, Stillwater Academy, the New Atlas Bar, the 307 Bar, Grill & Casino, Stillwater County library, Hanson Auto Body, Absaroka-Beartooth Dental, Parks Real Estate, Gits, the Stillwater Mine human resources office and Juliana's Jammin' Art & Rock Shop.
