Stillwater County 4-H/FFA Fair

The Stillwater County 4-H/FFA Fair kicked into action Sunday and was running at full song by Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday morning saw the dog obedience and showmanship event in the open arena while the miniature horse competition was conducted simultaneously in the covered arena less than 100 yards away.
The fair is perhaps the largest county-wide event, drawing upwards of 200 4-H/FFA kids to the fairgrounds to showcase a year worth of work with dogs, cats, pigs, sheep, cattle, photography, shooting skill, leather-crafting, family and consumer science and more. Open Class categories also put residents' skills on display. And as always, the wildly popular pig wrestling will take place Friday night at 6:30 p.m.
