Brenda Lee Kelley was born May 22, 1957, in Redwood City, Calif. She was called away Aug. 31, 2015, to be reunited in heaven with her parents, Gene and Betty Lou Brown, and her nephew Tanden Olsen.
Brenda was raised on the back of a horse and was happiest when in the saddle. Her career spanned many years working road construction and at the Willow Steakhouse in Jamestown, Calif. She made a lot of lifelong friends during that time. Her smile and personality would always light up a room. Brenda was taken away too soon. She had a lot more life to live. Her life and love lives on through her children Sean (Richelle) Kelley of Absarokee, Mont., Sara Kelley of Jamestown, Calif.; sister Pam Olsen of Columbia, Calif., and her brother Rod (Phyllis) of Columbus, Mont.
She will be missed by her beloved grandsons and so many other family members whose hearts are heavy with her loss.
A celebration of life will be held in Absarokee, Mont., on Oct. 3 at Whitebird School at 1 p.m., and another celebration on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Sheriff’s Posse Grounds in Sonora, Calif., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Even through she’s gone, her spirit lives one.
Fly with the angels Brenda.
