Patricia Ann Lewis Johnson passed away at home on Dec. 30, 2014.
She was born in Butte on May 5, 1950, to parents Glenn and Rosalie Lewis. Patty was the third born and her siblings were Glenn, John and Denise (Zolynski). She attended local schools in Butte and graduated Butte High School in 1968.
She married Mark Alan Johnson in Butte on April 25, 1970, surrounded by family and friends. Her son Gerald Alan arrived early for Christmas in 1970 and her daughter Jennifer was born in August of 1974. Her children and family were her main priority as she began a traveling adventure around the western United States and even Germany. She raised her family in Montana, California, Arizona, Oklahoma, Germany, Idaho, Michigan, South Dakota and Washington.
Even with all the travel, her favorite place was always her home town of Butte and a family plot of land on Hauser Lake. Many summers were spent with her husband, children, brothers and sister, parents, nieces, nephews and good friends around the fire pit; sitting on the rocker benches from the Columbia Gardens.
Patty was very creative and known for keeping a meticulous home. This is where she spent most of her time, with exception to a few jobs here and there. Later in life, the love of travel still remained and she especially enjoyed her trips to visit her children. Her favorite travels were to Texas and Louisiana where she fell in love with the food, music and warm temperatures.
Patty was preceded in death by her father Glenn and mother Rosalie. She is survived by her husband Mark, son Gerald, daughter Jennifer and grandsons Brenton Livermore and Evan Ellison. Her brother Glenn Lewis (Robin), John Lewis (Rhonda), Denise Zolynski (Al “Jiggs”). Nephews Shawn, Seith, Shay Lewis; Jason, Wade, Todd Zolynski and nieces Heather, Heidi, Aimee, and Kelly Lewis.
