Ed McBride passed away on Feb. 27, 2016. Just one week after his 73rd birthday.
Ed was born in Billings, Mont., on Feb. 20, 1943, to Curtis and Martile McBride. Ed served in the Navy on the USS Independence from 1964-1967. Ed was an electrician at Eastern Montana College for 32 years until his retirement. Ed moved to White Sulphur to enjoy fishing, camping, boating and the great outdoors.
Ed is survived by his sister Nancy (Durwood) Hatch of Columbus, Sue (Jim) O’Donnell, half sisters Patty Reichenberg, Darlene Loran all of Billings, daughters Terry Schneider of Billings, Kristi Ibarra of Oklahoma City, Okla., Khriss McBride and son Curtis McBride both of Billings, wife Betty McBride of White Sulphur, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ed is preceded in death by both his parents. A celebration of Ed’s life will be held at Smith Funeral Chapel at 304 34th Street West, Billings, MT 59102 at 11 a.m. on March 4, 2016.
