Absarokee Science Fair results

Scientific jargon filled the air on Feb. 21 as students explained all of their hard work during the 20th annual Absarokee Science Fair. Freshman Colton Young came out on top as the overall winner with his project “Does it matter how much air is inside?” A total of 73 students presented 59 different science projects, according to a recent news release. All of the winners listed below have earned the opportunity to compete in the Billings Science Expo on March 23.

Elementary Science Club to hold science fair in March

A group of young scientists have been hard at work in Columbus, and they are almost ready to unveil their findings.

On Monday, March 5, the Elementary Science Club will be holding a science fair from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Columbus Congregational Church to present to the community the projects the students have been working on for the last few weeks.

Some project topics include: glue slime stretch, Mentos-Coke fountains, candy color distribution, balloon drop speed, candy crystal sizes, and elephant toothpaste.
