On Oct. 31, 2021, the Lord gave wings to a unique and generous man. Jonn Beer, 29, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family who loved him so dearly.

Jonn was born in Billings on Sept. 25, 1992, at St. Vincent’s Hospital. The first of four boys, John grew up in Columbus and graduated from Columbus in 2011.

Throughout the years, Jonn enjoyed a variety of activities including dirt bike hill climbing and snowmobiling with his family and hunting and fishing with his Grandpa. He played flag football, wrestling, and soccer as a young boy and continued playing football during High School.

At 16, Jonn found a new love…..horses and rodeo. From that point on he was in love with horses and eventually began training them. The rodeo scene began with bull riding and migrated into bronc riding ultimately leading him to his passion, ranch rodeo saddle bronc riding. Jonn had several different career paths during his adult life, but it always circled back to horse training. He instilled his love of horses in his daughters and enjoyed making many memories with them.

Jonn was a unique and exceptional young man with a heart of gold as big as the Montana sky he lived under. Jonn loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was loved by all that new him with his quick wit and sweet charm, followed by the most beautiful laugh. Jonn had an undeniable passion for the outdoors.

Jonn was an accomplished horseman, trainer, and cowboy. Jonn loved hunting, riding, roping, and fishing. He loved cow boying so much. Jonn had a true love for riding ranch stock saddle bronc. Jonn had a contagious giggle and a beautiful twinkle in his eye. He was charismatic and had the gift of gab being able to strike a conversation with anyone. Generous to a fault, that was Jonn. If someone was in need, it didn’t matter the time of day or night, he would be there. If he had $5.00 and you needed it, it was yours.

In 2013, Jonn was blessed with his first-born daughter, Paisley Rose. On Aug. 6, 2016, Jonn married the love of his life, Amanda Leeper (Mandi), and from this union two beautiful daughters were born, Piper (4) and Maci (2). Jonn loved his family, and his baby girls were the joy of his life.

Jonn is survived by his wife, Mandi; daughters Paisley Rose, Piper, Maci and stepson, Gage; parents Don and Andrea Beer; brothers Braydon (Madison), Carter (Allison) and Maxton; grandparents John and Carole Myers and Rebecca Bowman. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins with special aunt being “mean aunt Jen,” and special cousins, Nick Beer and Liz Lorash.

Jonn was greeted in heaven by Great grandpa George, grandpa Bill, Great grandma Joan, Stetson, Justin, special friends Nate and Merv.

Jonn, our hearts are broken, our lives are shattered. No one was ready to say goodbye. The Lord had different plans for you. He knew you were a generous soul and did this also through death. Donating organs and giving five people the chance at life. We, your family, love you beyond words. Please watch over your brothers, girls, and family. We will see you in the Lords’ time. We love you son.

Love Mom and Dad
