Chandler on Concordia Dean’s List

Absarokee’s Emma Chandler was named to the fall semester Dean’s Honor List at Concordia College, in Moorhead, Minn., according to a Concordia College press release.

To qualify for this designation, students must carry a minimum of 12 semester credits and have a grade point average of at least a 3.7 on a 4.0 scale.

Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering more than 50 majors, including 15 honors majors and 12 preprofessional programs.

Reed Point Color Run March 24

The Color Run is returning to Reed Point.

On Saturday, March 24, color will be flying as community members take part in a 5K fun run/ walk around Reed Point.

Check-in begins at 9 a.m., with the race starting at 11 a.m. Registration is still being accepted, but T-shirts and color packets cannot be guaranteed. To register, visit the Reed Point High School office or go online to eventbrite.com.

Race proceeds benefit the Reed Point Class of 2018. Post-race concessions will raise money for students traveling to Europe this year. Contact Misty Ketola at (406)326-2245 with any questions.

4-H ambassadors hosting Easter dinner on the go

The Stillwater County 4-H Ambassadors are working to ensure that everyone across Stillwater County has a nice meal for Easter this year.

The group will be hosting an Easter dinner “on the go.” Free meals will be prepared for those in the community who may not have the resources to create such a meal.

Meal pickup will take place on Saturday, March 31 (the day before Easter), from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Columbus High School cafeteria. The Ambassadors will also deliver meals to those who may be home-bound.
