Columbus drama and speech place high at Hardin Invitational

The Columbus High School (CHS) Drama team finished second in Class B at the Hardin Invitational held Dec. 7 and attended by more than 20 Class A, B and C schools. Columbus had two finalists in both Pantomime and Classic Theater. Aidyn McKenzie was third and Cahill Stadel sixth in Mime. The Classic Team of Leslie Richardson and Shelby Knudsen were third and Classic trio team, Catelynn Wegner, Taylor Brumfield and Jonathan McDonald, finished eighth. Caydence Martin and Celestina Anderson earned a fourth place finish in Dramatic Theater. Representing Columbus in Humorous duo, Jezebel Robuck and Megan Riehl placed seventh. Representing CHS in Speech were Gage Conat with a fourth place finish in Original Oratory, Tanner Meier with a fifth place finish in Humorous Oral Interpretation, and Zoey Browne with an eighth in Dramatic Oral Interpretation. Columbus travels to Big Timber on Dec. 14.
