The annual Columbus Farmer’s Market is about to start up and in a big way.

Next Thursday, July 15, the market will make its debut at a new location and under new management — with the Stillwater County Chamber of Commerce now running the show at Granite Peak Park.

The venue change brings with it more space for parking and vendors, a playground and the absence of passing through trains, something that was a frequent occurrence at the old location at Rail Road Park on Pike Street.

New this year will be the addition of area breweries each week, along with food trucks. Participating breweries include the Circle T Taproom, Katabic and Craft B&B. The Mac Shack food truck is also signed up for the Aug. 26 and Sept. 2 dates.

Live music by Montana Sun will also take place on July 15 and Circle T Taproom will be the featured brewery.

The chamber’s goal is to grow the market this year and raise local attendance. The market will take place each Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. and run until Sept. 2.

Vendor booths are still available and can be reserved by contacting the chamber or the Columbus Farmers Market Facebook pages for applications. The following is a list of vendors currently registered for the July 15 market:
