Georgiana Faust, beautiful, loving friend, spouse, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home on May 9.

Georgiana was many things in her life, but nothing mattered more to her than caring for her family. She was a lady small in stature, but the unconditional love she bestowed on her family was as big as the universe.

Georgiana Coppedge was born and raised in Polson, Mont., along with her brother, Jack, and sister, Sharon. She graduated from the University of Montana where she was a baton-twirling majorette, a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and met her husband, Ronald Francis Faust, a fraternity friend of her brother.

Georgiana and Ron were married for 62 years, spending their early years in Brazil, Venezuela, Mexico and San Jose before returning to Montana and settling in Billings. They had cabins on the Boulder and West Boulder Rivers where they spent many happy weekends and summers. A prolific cook, no one went hungry when Georgiana was around.

If there was anything Georgiana loved more than her three children, it was her seven grandchildren. They were the joy of her life and she loved nothing more than spending time with them as well as making clothes and other gifts for them. Georgiana and Ron treated their children and grandchildren to multiple adventures to Disneyland, Disney World, Europe, San Diego, Mexico and Hawaii. It filled Georgiana with joy when her first great-grandchildren were born in July of 2018, and March of this year.

Among the many, many people that will miss Georgiana are her husband Ron; sisters-in-law, Gay Federico and Sharon Lincoln; sister, Sharon Fulton and husband Bob; children Steve Faust (Betsy), Johanna Kern (Joe), and Ronnie Faust (Kay); grandchildren Wilson, Charles, and Franklin Faust, Brooke Kern, Stephanie Edwards (Jeff), Samuel Faust (Rachel), and Louis Faust; and great-grandchildren Thea Delaney Faust, and Archer Duke Edwards.

Memorials may be made to Georgiana’s favorite charity, Project Hope, 428 East Pike Avenue, P.O. Box 1443, Columbus, MT 59019.

A service for Georgiana will be held at the Smith West Chapel at 304 34th Street West in Billings on Friday, May 17, at 11 a.m.
