When Hailey Lebsack decided to get her EMT license, she did her homework. After looking at different departments that teach EMT classes in the surrounding area, CFR kept coming up.

“I heard nothing but good things about Columbus Fire Rescue,” said Lebsack, a 20-year-old originally from Denver, Colo.

One year ago, she signed up and has not been disappointed.

Among the job aspects Lebsack cites as pulling her towards the profession are the people she works with and the fact that they are constantly training to advance the skills and knowledge needed in the field.

“I also like that every day is different, whether the calls we respond to or the different task we work on around the station,” said Lebsack, who is also a student at MSUB City College in Billings.
