Stillwater County will offer something for just about everyone this weekend.

The 6th Annual Nate Debruycker Living the Dream Fun Run/Walk will take place Saturday morning at Railroad Park in Columbus. Registration is at 8 a.m. and the race gets underway at 9 a.m. Breakfast will be served at the finish line, with the medals ceremony at 9:50 a.m. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in four categories: age 15 and under, age 16 to 38, ages 39 to 45 and age 55 and older.

All proceeds go to benefit local families with medical emergencies or funeral costs, as well as scholarships. Since the event started, the DeBruycker family has given local families and groups approximately $23,000, in the name of their son, Nathan, who was killed in a motorcycle accident. Through their non-profit organization, the DeBruycker family has also given money to the Stillwater Youth Center, the Forever Loved Memorial Garden and Project Hope.

The 11th Annual Stillwater Shindig serves as the primary fundraiser for the Musuem of the Beartooths.

It will be held at the museum, located at 440 E. 5th Ave. North, and kicks off at 5 p.m, featuring both silent and live auctions, as well as a no-host bar, catering by Uncle Sam’s Eatery and live music. There is a fee. For more information, call the museum at 322-4588.

Musician’s Rendezvous

Itch-Kep-Pe Park is the location for this summer fun, which runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Bring an acoustic instrument and join in or just enjoy the sounds. The genre is listed as “mostly Bluegrass” and the public is welcome. Lawn chairs and bug spray are recommended.

SVWC’s Annual BBQ and Auction

The Stillwater Valley Watershed Council’s annual fundraising dinner, socializing and auction event will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday. It will be followed by the SVWC Stillwater River Float & Weed Pull on Sunday. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the Nye Fire Hall.
