Henry Lee Braly

On April 8, 2020, at approximately 8:30 PM, Henry Lee Braly joined his dog, Rusty, his daughter, Shari, and his Mother and Father, Laura and Guy, to wander the Heavens alongside God.

Henry — also known as “H,” HB, Dad, GP, and Gramps — was born Jan. 13, 1938, to Guy and Laura (Spence) Braly in Longmont, Colo. His passing is to be noted as marvelous as his life, almost as if he chose the precise time while his son by his side to make the pass.

Henry Lee Braly was a great man that did great things with great people. He was a businessman, a family man and the definition of a true friend. He was a man that you could count on, a man with a firm handshake. He was a man you could talk to, a man that would listen and a man that would answer your questions thoughtfully and with honest intent.

Henry was a strong man, mentally and physically. There was rarely a task he couldn’t do or an achievement that was out of his reach. Henry had his own definition of success and he was successful every day in one way or another.

Henry was the peace, the storm, and the captain of his ship.

Many, many people will miss Henry Braly, however, many people have and will continue to do great things because of Henry Braly. His wisdom, his passion, his love will live on and on through the many people Henry Braly touched.

A memorial luncheon will be held for Henry at his home in Nye at 12 noon on June 6, 2020.
