Raymond “Wayne” Inskeep, 69, passed away on June 22, 2020, in Nampa, Idaho.

Wayne was born in Gilman, Colo., on Jan. 15, 1951, to John R. Inskeep and Dorothy Faye Castoe Inskeep. He spent his younger years around Fruita, Colorado and moved to Moab, Utah, at around 11-years-old.

Wayne met and married the love of his life, Nancy L. Tibbitts, in 1969. Wayne made a lot of friends through the years and all of them are still his friends. Wayne was an underground miner that worked in the uranium and gold mines. He traveled and worked in Utah, Colorado, Wyoming and Montana.

Wayne loved hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and camping on the La Sal Mountains. He settled later in life in Spring Creek, Nevada until 2019 and had recently moved to Emmett, Idaho. Wayne and Nancy were enjoying their new home and friends they had made in the short time they had been there when he was called home.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons Jimmy Inskeep (Tena), Cody Inskeep (Kelley), Dirk Shumway (Michelle); daughters Misty Inskeep Alexander (Vince) and Mara Visinaiz (Jim); brother Donnie (Tempe) Jackson and sister Diana (Kenny) Mylorie. He has 12 grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren and one on the way. Also, many relatives and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, John Inskeep and Dorothy F. Jackson, as well as his brothers Jimmy, Ronnie and Johnny Inskeep. Also preceding him are all of his wonderful grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and extended family members.

There will be a memorial for Wayne on Saturday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at the Rotary Park in Moab, Utah. Cold cuts will be provided and you are welcome to bring a side if you like. Please bring your own chairs and beverages.
