She was a loving and joyful presence on this earth for almost 79 years.

Born in the middle of January in 1944 in Aberdeen, South Dakota to John and Maxine Hewitt, she was the eldest of five siblings. While the family lived in Laurel, Mont., she met a handsome young man who won her heart and she became the wife of Thomas Jelly. Two children were born to them, Sheila and Matthew.

In 1978 the couple bought a different place close to the river at Columbus, Mont. Sharelle worked at the convalescent center as a CNA and as a developmentally disabled instructor for a few years. She nurtured everyone around her. There was always so much love in her hands.

Sharelle was preceded in death by her parents and a younger sister, Diane Langve. She is survived by the rest of us — her husband of 60 years T.A.
