PC boys win team title at Lockwood meet, girls take third

The Park City boys took the team title at last Saturday’s meet at the Lockwood Stadium, with the girls finishing an impressive third.

A total of 15 teams competed on the girls’ side and 17 boys teams.

Stockton Zimdars led the boys with wins in the 100-meter dash, the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles. He was also a member of the winning 4x100 meter relay team consisting of Holden Stepper, Jake Gauthier and Garrett Zimdars.

Garrett Zimdars collected runner-up finishes in the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and the 400-meter dash, as well as a fourth place in the long jump.

Wyatt Story was a double-winner in the 100-meter dash and the 800-meter run. Ben Kessler won the shot put and was second in the javelin.

The 4x400 relay team consisting of Gauthier, Story, Holden and Ryan Bal were second. Gauthier was also second in the 300 meter hurdles.

The Lady Panthers were paced with wins by Abby Frank in the javelin and Abigail Hoffman in the 3200 meter run. Frank was also runner-up in the 1600 meter run, as was the 4x100 relay team consisting of Leigha Grabowska, Addie Baker, Tasha Dedmore and Brylee Deklyen.

Cadee Hess was second in the javelin and Dedmore was second in the long jump.
