Vivian Elaine Peterson, born on Aug. 31, 1935, to May and Vilroy Overhuls, left this earth for her forever home in heaven on March 31, 2019.

Vivian married Bill Revell in 1953 and to this union, Pamela Revell was born. She later met and fell in love with Jack Martin Peterson, whom she would truly love and marry, more than once.

Vivian spent most of her life in Montana, but ventured off to Wyoming, Arizona and Alaska over the years. She was always sure to find work on these ventures, for as anyone who knew her knew she was the best waitress and bartender you would ever come to know! Vivian was ornery, kind, strong and compassionate. She was known to take in strays of all kinds. Whether they were the 2 or 4-legged kind, she would go without so someone else could have.

We lost a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and dear friend. Our tears are filled with all the loving memories of you in our hearts and our lives.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Fuzzy); granddaughter, Misty (Ken) and grandsons Jonathan and Tyler; great-grandsons, Riley, Rogan, Devlin and Tucker; nieces, Sherry (Tony), Cindy (Carl) and Marci (Harry); nephews, Terry (Vicki), Rod, Marty (Janet), Randy and Stacy (Candi); as well as many great-nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, dad and brothers, Wayne, Ted and Robert.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Vivian’s memory can be honored by making a donation to a no-kill animal rescue organization such as Help for Homeless pets, Rez Dog rescue or B.A.R.K.
