Ethel M. Hudson Rosselot, age 91, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Beartooth Manor nursing home.

She was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Columbus, Mont., to Dewey and Hazel Whited.

Ethel married Merle Hudson on Oct. 16, 1946, and were blessed with three children Merle Jr., Duane, and Rick. Merle died on May 2, 1972, in the Sunshine Mine Disaster and Ethel later remarried Robert Rosselot of Laurel in 1976.

Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Hazel Whited, sister Clara Ellen, husband Merle Hudson, husband Robert Rosselot, son Merle Jr., daughter-inlaw Vicki (Rick) Hudson and stepdaughter Linda (Dennis) Greenwalt.

Ethel is survived by her son Duane (Mary) Hudson of Absarokee; son Rick (Krista) Hudson of Kellogg, Idaho; stepdaughter Sharon (Burton) Mitchell of Park City; stepson Rob (Lori) Rosselot of Laurel, Mont. and Bill (Tamie) Rosselot of Saint Louisville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Michael (Tanna) Hudson, Cheryl (Troy) Kennedy, Toni (John) Fisher, David (Michelle) Hudson, Robbie Hudson, Lenora Mathews, Charlie Hudson, Chris (Kathy) Hudson, Angie Hudson and Kyle (Heather) Hudson. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.

Ethel will always be remembered by her sense of humor, jokes, and infectious giggle. Her passion for decorating cakes and crocheting will long be remembered.

She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the Nye Cemetery with reception following.
