With the permission of Stillwater Renegade Softball Coach Justine Pearsall, the News would like to introduce this year’s Stillwater Renegade senior softball players.

Sky Brooker

POSITION: 3rd or left field

NUMBER: 7

FAVORITE MEMORY: My favorite softball memory was telling ghost stories in the shed when it was raining really hard at practice.

ROLE MODEL: My role model is my mom because she is always working hard but always has time for her friends and family no matter what.

FAVORITE QUOTE: is “I’m not saying it’s easy, I’m saying it’s worth it.”

FUN FACT: A fun fact about me is that I attended the Missoula International School, which is a Spanish immersion school, until I was in 3rd grade.

ADVICE FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS: My advice for younger softball players is never let success get to your head and never let failure get to your heart. Your team is your new family, work together to strive for the best.

Bailey Hedges

POSITION: Second Base

NUMBER: 24

FAVORITE MEMORY: When we slept in a weight room my freshman year at a tournament.

ROLE MODEL: My dad because he played baseball and softball. He was the one who encouraged me to start playing.

FAVORITE QUOTE: “Push yourself because no one is going to do it for you.”- unknown

FUN FACT: My childhood dream was to be an artist.

ADVICE FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS: Don’t do the bare minimum. Just because you are meeting the requirements doesn’t mean you’re exceptional. Push yourself and you’ll finally see what you’re capable of.

Grace Stadel

POSITION: First Base, Right Field

NUMBER: 23

FAVORITE MEMORY: Breaking my new bat in our home tournament against Shelby.

FAVORITE QUOTE: “There is no ‘we’ in fries.”

FUN FACT: I can only bowl left handed.

ADVICE FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS: Don’t be scared to push yourself to get better. If you work hard in the off season, it will definitely show when the season comes. Also don’t stop trying whether we are in practice or we are in a game, play like how you would leave. I know this virus is killing our season... literally.... but don’t be upset, you will have more years to play.

Hayley Story

POSITION: Pitcher

NUMBER: 1

FAVORITE MEMORY: My favorite memory is getting the opportunity to play with all my amazing teammates past and present.

ROLE MODEL: My role model is my Dad because he is an amazing supporter and loves everyone like his own kids and is an overall great person.

FAVORITE QUOTE: “Rest at the end not at the middle.”-Kobe Bryant

FUN FACT: I can make my tongue turn into a clover.

ADVICE FOR YOUNGER PLAYERS: Never take advantage of the sport because you never know when it is going to be taken away from you.
