Vivian Hagen

Vivian Hagen died Sunday afternoon on Nov. 13, 2022, in the Stillwater Billings Clinic in Columbus after a short illness.

Vivian was born on Feb. 12, 1939, the third child of Pebble and Viller (Cope) Keef in Los Angeles County, Calif. She graduated from San Fernando High School in 1957 and met Bill Hagen, a cousin’s brotherin- law soon after. They were married in July 1959, moved to Texas and then to Missoula, Mont., where son, Kevin was born.

They then returned to southern California where daughter, Carrie was born. The family relocated to Orlando, Florida and then to the Bay Area in California where they stayed for thirty years until they retired to Columbus, Montana in 1997.

While in California, Vivian earned her Registered Nursing License of which she was very proud. She worked as a hospital nurse and then as a private duty nurse until retirement.

Vivian was predeceased by her parents, brother Norman and sister Frieda (Keef) Cline. In addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins, she is survived by her husband of 63 years; son Kevin (Anna) of Helena, Mont., and his three daughters - Emily in Seattle, Wash., Andrea Johnson (Michael) and Kristina Bell (Thomas) who both reside in Virginia. Vivian is also survived by daughter Carrie Brennan (Shaun) who resides in England.

Per Vivian’s request, there will be no services, cremation has occurred. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Cruisin4Seniors, Absaroka, Mont., Columbus Project Hope, the Stillwater Youth Center or the charity of your choice.
