Dangerous crosswinds and blowing snow from Livingston to Big Timber to Harlowton could begin tonight, Feb. 4, and continue through Wednesday, Feb. 5, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Blowing snow will “dramatically” limit visibility while creating slick conditions on I-90 and Highway 191.

The Beartooth, Absaroka and Crazy mountain ranges could see 1 to 2 feet of new snow, with lower elevations expected to get between 3 and 6 inches.

Additionally, a Hazardous Weather Outlook was issued by the NWS this morning for yet more snow to arrive starting Thursday, Feb. 6, and extending into Friday, Feb. 7.

Currently, there is a 60 percent chance of snow in Columbus on Thursday and Friday.
